This blog will focus on Long Range Weather Forecasting in the DC area with an emphasis on major pattern changes and severe winter weather. So while it is a DC blog, it does pertain to the Mid Atlantic and the Northeast. My area of great interest is Winter Weather but I will update the blog throughout the year. Enjoy!

Could be a long stretch of 90's
if the models are correct and they are really bringing the heat, we could see a very long stretch of 90 degree days in a row. Next week is looking brutally hot and no rain is in sight. The worst of Summer is coming
